- Prayer requests — text you submit and, optionally, your name, email, and phone number
- Donations — name, email, and billing information processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Contact messages — your name, email, and the message you send
We also collect basic analytics data (page visits, traffic sources) through standard web analytics tools. We do not track individuals.
How We Use Your Information
- To receive, hold, and respond to your prayer request (if you've provided contact info)
- To process your donation and send a receipt
- To respond to contact messages
- To improve our website
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Prayer Request Confidentiality
Prayer requests are treated with the utmost care and discretion. They are read only by our team and are never shared publicly. If you submit anonymously, we have no way to identify you and do not attempt to do so.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. Donation processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. Prayer request and contact data is stored securely in an encrypted database.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — hosting and CDN
Your Rights
You may request deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing info@outofdespair.org. We will fulfill your request promptly.
